It's the new year, what kind of resolutions have you made? I want to sew more. I spend way too much time on Pinterest it's about time I actually took on a project or 2. Actually I did start on new years eve with what was supposed to be simply removing the wall paper in the family room and repainting the walls. I live in an old house (1888) and it's never that simple! My husband insisted we also replace the ceiling, that's where the whole thing fell apart. There was wet insulation, mold and old wiring. After being surprised by a bat and our cat who had climbed the ladder and crawled into the ceiling he finally agreed this was bigger than us. Thanks to our Electrician we are now ready to start drywalling the ceiling. I am big on energy conservation so we have some new LED recessed lights and a ceiling fan to heat and cool the room. I guess I better decide what color it's going to be.
I did find a cool app for my phone; it's the benjamin moore ben color capture.
This is just one of the holes in the ceiling :) I will post an after picture...hopefully soon!
I also added Yard Sale treasure map, so I can map out my yard and estate sales. Pretty cool, there's even 5 this weekend right near the radio station!
