WFMK OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES - Revised 1/12/09

1.All winners on WFMK must be at least 18 years of age. Official Contest rules will be posted on our website (99wfmk.com) and will be available for viewing at the Citadel Broadcasting Business Office during the contest period, during normal business hours. Our business office is located at 3420 Pine Tree Road in Lansing, hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

2. For all prizes, potential winners must be at least 18 or 21 years of age. The age restriction is determined on a contest-by-contest basis.

3. Winning is allowed once per 30 days per person. Winners are required to provide their name/address/phone upon winning. Winners will be asked to provide photo ID when claiming a prize. If the winner is a minor, the parent/guardian will be required to show ID and sign for the prize won. If any information is found to be fraudulent, the winnings will be forfeited. If a person wins more than once in a 30-day period, they will forfeit all prizes won after the first prize. The winner does not get to choose which prize they want to keep. If anyone continually breaks this rule, WFMK management reserves the right to ban that person from playing future contests. Prizes are not transferable.

5. All prizes must be claimed at The Citadel Broadcasting Business Office within 2 weeks of winning. If, for any reason, a winner is unable to appear within that period of time we will grant a 1-week extension upon request. This request must be made to and approved by the Promotions Director, Donna Luce. If the prize is time sensitive (tickets to a specific event, gift certificate which must be used in a specified time frame, etc.) it is the sole responsibility of the winner to pick up the prize. If a prize has expired before being claimed, the winner agrees to forfeit the prize and understands that no alternate prize will be awarded.

6. Unless otherwise specified, participation in contesting is open only to legal residents of the State of Michigan.

7. WFMK does allow a winner’s authorized representative to claim small prizes. In order for someone else to claim your prize, they must present a copy of the winner’s photo identification. All major prizes must be claimed by the winner.

8. WFMK will mail prizes if the winner calles and explains why they are unable to pick the prize up or for winners who have a handicap which prevents them from driving, and are unable to have someone else claim the prize for them. All requests for mailing a prize must be approved by Donna Luce. Because of size, some prizes cannot be mailed, and the winner agrees to forfeit in these cases. If mailing does occur, the winner understands that if any prize is lost, damaged or destroyed it will not be replaced. The risk is theirs to take. In some cases, WFMK may require a form signed by the winner prior to mailing. This can be mailed to the winner to mail back to us, or faxed.

9. In all winning, the winner wins the prize as stated. No substitutions.

10. WFMK is required to keep an up-to-date database of all winners and the prizes won. At the end of the calendar year, if the value of prizes won by an individual exceeds $600.00, (combined winnings on all Citadel-Lansing stations) we are required to send that person a 1099 Miscellaneous Income Form and report the winnings to the Internal Revenue Service.

11. By participating in a contest, the winner agrees to let their voice/name be used by WFMK with no compensation.

12. WFMK is not responsible for telephone interference, inability to complete calls, busy lines, operator interference, misdirected calls, incomplete calls, or any problem which may prevent a potential winner from completing a call. In the event that more than one winner is on the phone at the same time, WFMK reserves the right to deem that particular Contest void and replay at a later time if desired.

13. We cannot provide replacement tickets/passes for concerts or events that cancel for any reason. This includes unforeseen problems of the venue and/or artist or other reasons that are beyond the scope of our control. If a winner has won tickets for an event that is cancelled for any reason, WFMK will not furnish a replacement prize. However, we will void the winning and the winner will be eligible to win again without waiting for the 30-day limit.

14.  We cannot provide replacement prize(s) if, for any reason, the prize won cannot be redeemed because any business has gone out-of-business or changed ownership prior to the prize being redeemed.  We will void the winning and the winner will be eligible to win again without waiting for the 30-day limit.

15. WFMK streams audio on the internet through the website www.99wfmkcom. All potential contest participants please be advised that if you are listening to the streaming audio, there is an approximate 3-5 minute delay in the actual time that on-air event occur and the airing of audio through the internet. Because of this, participation in timely email/telephone contesting is open only to those listening in actual real time.

16. Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.

17. Employees of WFMK, its licensee, Citadel Broadcasting Company, their affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Mid-Michigan area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win. Immediate family shall include spouse, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren and any other person residing within the same household.
